This month, July 2010, saw the production of the 100th edition our monthly community newspaper the Hattersley & Mottram Community News. This is our tenth year of production of the Community News and we're looking forward to celebrating our 10th birthday in January.

To mark this huge occassion, we wanted to do something to say thank you to some of the 300+ volunteers that have been involved with the Community News and HMCM over the years. So we've contacted organisations and companies all over the north west to ask them to donate an experience that we can give away to our volunteers.

Every volunteer that recieves an experience will be asked to produce a report on it for the Community News and for posting here on our website.

We're planning an event at the Hare Hill Tavern on Sunday 1st August , where there will be a drawn to decide which volunteers will get to have one of the fantastic experinces that have been donated.

At the same time we'll have a swap shop board, so if anyone gets an experience that's not appropriate for them they can swap it with one of our other volunteers.
