November 2009
In October 2009 we worked with the St. Peter's Partnerships to support production of their first community newspaper, for the residents who live in the Town Centre, Holy Trinity, West End and Portland Basin area's of Ashton-under-Lyne.
Working with the St. Peter's community development team, HMCM provided the layout and print services for the publication. These are just some of the support services we can provide to anyone wanting to produce a community or other publication.
In May 2009 we started working with the Smallshaw/Hurst regeneration partnership to develop a Community News for the residents living in the Smallshaw, Hurst and St. Michael's areas of Ashton-under-Lyne.
By the time the second edition was produced in October 2009 a group of residents were already involved as the news team.

In 2008 Hattersley & Mottram Community Media (HMCM) worked with Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership (HNP) to produce the latest edition of the Hattersley & Mottram Directory of Local Services.
As well as designing and producing the Directory, HMCM also collated all the information contained within it, on behalf of HNP

CONTENTS
HMCM produced Tameside Third Sector Coalition's (T3SC) January/February 2008 newsletter. We produced this newsletter for the organisation as they were in the process of inducting their new information worker.
This isn't the first time HMCM has produced T3SC's newsletter. In 2005 we supported their move from an A4 newsletter to a much more readable tabloid style publicaton.
Want to talk to us about your publication? Thinking of starting a community publication in your area? Give us a call on 0161 368 5171.
In November 2006, Hattersley & Mottram Community Media (HMCM) was commissioned to support residents in the Denton South area of Tameside to produce their own community newspaper.
Support is provided in all aspects of the newspaper's production and development, such as creating content for the newspaper, stories and pictures. Working to recruit new volunteers is high on the list of priorities, as is developing the people already involved.
